Mrs. Callie Jo Smith
Not much is known about the mysterious Mrs. Callie
Jo (Cousino) Smith, and she prefers it that way. We
know she was born not very long ago to her proud
mother and father. Since that time she has done many
things, some of which we aren't sure we believe,
some of which are illegal in some states and some
of which we know would be physically impossible.
We have uncovered the fact she picked up a bass for
the first time when she was 19 years old.
Unfortunately Callie had a freak accident at the
tender age of 27 where all her memories were erased.
It had something to do with area 51, a nuclear
power plant and an FM radio station transmitter, but
she doesn't like to discuss it.
Callie is quoted as saying..."The playing is fine
and I'm always appreciative to do it when I can,
however the real passion for me, what I live for, is
the setting up, tearing down and moving of gear.
That showcases true talent and shows what you're made
of. Basically, it makes performing worthwhile. I'm
sure every seasoned player out there would have to
agree."
Here is a list of bands people have told her she's
played with through the years. Since her accident,
she only has a faint recollection of a small portion
of these. If you have seen her play with any other
groups not listed here, please notify the Webmaster
so the list can be updated and another piece of her
memory can be restored.
